Unguided Rocket Initial Trajectory Characteristics under Main Rotor Downwash and Development of the Virtual Airspeed And Direction Sensor

Abstract
For the rotary wing aircraft, missiles including unguided rocket initial trajectories are affected by main rotor downwash. The main rotor downwash affects missile initial trajectory to pitch up. So, aiming algorithm should compensate the pitch up of the unguided rocket initial trajectory. In this paper we introduced the characteristics of an unguided rocket initial trajectories under main rotor downwash and we proposed here alternative equation to replace AADS as a result we can reduce helicopter production costs and aircraft total weight.
